In line with Blancpain's celebration of joie de vivre, the coming together of haute cuisine with haute horlogerie, the maison today unveiled chef Julien Royer of Odette as its newest friend of the brand.

Odette, the 2 Michelin star restaurant, recently took over four-time winner Gaggan in the No.1 spot at the Asia's Top 50 restaurant awards back in March. Serving Asian-inspired modern French cuisine, chef Julien Royer's Odette claims the coveted titles of The Best Restaurant in Asia, as well as The Best Restaurant in Singapore.

The occasion also saw the unveiling of the Swiss manufacture's novelties for 2019, ranging from the latest Fifty Fathom timepieces - the first modern diving watch - to its elegant Villeret collection.
