The main innovation of this world-first timepiece is its traditional Chinese calendar. It is the first watch to present it in the form of a perpetual calendar, with all the calculations, patience, ingenuity and understanding of Chinese culture that this implies. It also indicates an unprecedented amount of information linked to the sexagesimal cycle, the keystone of the Chinese calendar and indeed of the entire Chinese cosmological model.

As an essential complement to this Chinese perpetual calendar, the precision phases and age of the moon appear on the 12 o’clock counter, with no need for corrections over a full 1,027 years. It also indicates an unprecedented amount of information linked to the sexagesimal cycle, the keystone of the Chinese calendar and indeed of the entire Chinese cosmological model.
