Celebrating craftsmanship and artistic savoir-faire, La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton unveils Escale à Asnières, a one-of-a-kind pocket watch. This extraordinary creation seamlessly fuses an exceptional Jacquemart mechanism with an array of exquisite Métiers d’art.

In an intricate art form, moving elements on the dial are sculpted in 3D gold by in-house master engraver Dick Steenman, while layers of color are applied to enliven the scene – culminating in the final touch of a delicate LV Monogram Star cut diamond.

Created by master watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini, the LFTAU14.01 in-house caliber powers this extraordinary pocket watch. Its sophisticated mechanical movement features an on-demand minute repeater and automata mechanism, bringing the dial to life with seven animations.

Completing the storied pocket watch is a gold engraving on the case back, exquisitely sculpted by in-house master engraver Dick Steenman from La Fabrique des Arts. A variety of techniques were employed to create a splendid interplay of light, volume, and relief — resulting in a masterpiece that required four weeks to craft.
