Straight from the savannah, the Hermès Slim d’Hermès Pocket Roaaaaar! features a roaring lion in wood marquetry. The king of the jungle displays his incredible mane on the openworked cover, which reveals a dial in vert cyprès or bleu saphir Grand Feu enamel. Ten precious wood species, including amaranth and tulipwood, were chosen to remain faithful to the original design by British artist Alice Shirley.

Cut into a multitude of tiny fragments assembled like a jigsaw puzzle, the wood pieces reveal a feline of astonishing depth. The purity of the overall design highlights the finesse of the 45 mm white gold case, which frames the hours and minutes hands driven by the ultra-thin Manufacture Hermès H1950 movement.

This limited edition of three in each color is finished with a cord strap and pouch in matching alligator leather.
