Zenith Chronomaster Sport: The high-frequency power of steel and rose gold two-tone
By SENATUS Editor | 14 April 2026

The world of precision timing has a new, sophisticated silhouette as Zenith introduces a refined two-tone expression of its signature chronograph. Standing at the intersection of a storied legacy and forward momentum, the Zenith Chronomaster Sport steel and rose gold edition offers an intensity that feels entirely new. It is not a departure from the collection’s sporting roots, but rather a shift in tone where performance is conveyed with restraint rather than force.

This evolution takes shape through a sharp 41mm architecture that plays beautifully with contrast. While the stainless steel build anchors the watch in technical robustness, the addition of a rose gold bezel, crown, and pushers introduces a sense of warmth and depth. The resulting aesthetic is deliberately versatile, appearing equally at ease in a moment of high motion as it is in more composed, formal settings.

Beneath the sapphire crystal, a mother-of-pearl dial reveals a controlled luminosity that transforms subtly throughout the day as light moves across its surface. The signature 3-6-9 overlapping counters remain intact, serving as a direct lineage to the original El Primero movement. Gold-plated faceted hands and applied indexes ensure that clarity and precision are maintained in all conditions.

At its core beats the El Primero 3600, a movement that translates high mechanical frequency into visible motion. The central chronograph hand completes a full rotation in just ten seconds, a natural consequence of an architecture designed to measure 1/10th of a second. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement reveals a column wheel and an openworked rotor engraved with the Zenith star. The integrated steel and rose gold bracelet continues this dialogue of contrast, alternating between brushed and polished surfaces to emphasize its structure. For those seeking further adaptability, an additional black rubber strap with a folding clasp is included.

Released in a limited edition of only 50 pieces, this Zenith Chronomaster Sport offers a composed and inherently versatile perspective on high-frequency performance.
