IWC Schaffhausen introduces refined brilliance to the Ingenieur Automatic 35 collection - Watches & Wonders 2026 #WatchesandWonders2026

The landscape of watch design was forever altered in 1976 when Gérald Genta debuted the Ingenieur SL. His vision for a luxury sports watch—defined by its technical prowess and integrated silhouette—has become an enduring hallmark of modern style. Marking the 50th anniversary of this iconic lineage, IWC Schaffhausen continues to evolve the Genta legacy by pairing its signature industrial geometry with new, sophisticated expressions of color and light.

At Watches and Wonders Geneva, IWC Schaffhausen expanded its feminine-leaning 35-millimetre range with two distinct novelties. The first (Ref. IW324911) introduces diamonds to the current Ingenieur collection for the first time. Its 18-carat 5N gold bezel is embellished with 45 white diamonds, creating an elegant frame for a silver-plated "Grid" dial and gold-plated hands.

The second addition (Ref. IW324907) brings the brand’s signature blue dial to the compact 35-millimetre stainless steel case. IWC Schaffhausen has a storied history with blue dials dating back to the late 1960s, and this deep blue "Grid" execution offers a sought-after aesthetic paired with rhodium-plated appliqués.

Both models prioritize ergonomics with a slender height of just 9.4 millimetres and integrated bracelets featuring polished middle links. Visible through the sapphire glass back is the 47110 calibre, finished with Geneva stripes and a gold-plated oscillating weight. These timepieces ensure that the engineering spirit of IWC Schaffhausen remains as versatile as it is timeless.
